the Cast

[photo] Douglas Anderson - Cal Meacham
Douglas is proud to say that he has had absolutely no experience as a practicing thespian prior to his jaw-dropping debut as Cal Meacham in Trust. Basically, he did the director a favor. He was inspired to tackle this challenging role by the theatrical pyrotechnics of his life-long idol, Andrew Shue. In his spare time, Doug likes to write songs, dabble in the commodities market, and pose nude in store windows.

[photo] Deborah Yates - Gwen Meacham
With her featured role as Gwen in Trust, Deborah is expanding her acting career in addition to her very busy schedule as a dancer. Deborah has studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance in Dallas, Chicago, New York, and London. Since 1994, she has been a featured member of the world famous Rockettes, participating in their annual Easter and Christmas shows, as well as numerous promotional events around New York City.

[photo] Sara Kay Rinde - Monica Plower
Sara is a gradute of State University of New York at Albany. Her New York theatre credits include the lead in the premiere of Jane Shields' The Bridal Party, Margaret in A Man for All Seasons, and Marvel Ann in Psycho Beach Party. Film credits include Jancis in the independent film Mia's Party and Jill in the original NYU student film version of Trust. She is currently studying acting in Manhattan with Rober McCaskill.

[photo] Vincent Daly - Rodney Plower
Vincent received his BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY at Stony Brook. He played Karnik in the Stony Brook Theatre Company's national tour of Silence! The Court is in Session. Recent credits in addition to his comedic turn as Rodney in Trust include the off-beat coming of age story Strays, in which Vincent showcased his more dramatic side in the principal role of Gabe. Howard Stern fans will notice Vincent as a college radio producer in Stern's autobiographical film Private Parts.

[photo] Natalie Jovan - Jill Matheson
Natalie received her BA from Stanford University before returning to the East Coast to pursue her acting muse. Following her "knockout" role as the femme fatale Jill Matheson in Trust, Natalie played leading roles in three new independent feature films: as Marty in Perfect Shot, Cynthia in The Dragon of Astoria, and Bonnie in Session Man. Natalie continues to perfect her technique under the tutelage of Michael Howard, and is represented by the Ambrosio/Mortimer Agency.

[photo] Ron Pisaturo - John Gannon
Ron has appeared in numerous independent films and off off-Broadway plays in New York City. He played the hero in his own play Escape From Eden about a race to find a cure for aging. Ron had a principal role in the film Chamber Music, directed by actor Michael Moriarty. Ron is also a businessman, and for ten years was the President of a private high school which he founded.

the Crew

[photo] Charles Sickles - Writer/Director/Producer
Charles completed the Certificate Program in Film at NYU's School of Continuing Education in the Spring of 1996. He also has a strong interest in music and has played in numerous bands, including Playboys of the Revolution (with Douglas Anderson) and Global Disrobal (with Greg Renza). He and his wife Anne live in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

Tom Agnello - Director of Photography/Sound Editor
Tom honed his craft at NYU film school, where he developed a dual proficiency in cinematography and editing. As producer and editor, Tom created the documentary Lenape: The Original People which is distributed throughout the United States as an educational tool for Native American studies. Tom's recent credits include Director of Photography on the independent feature films Cassian's Kids and Niche, as well as the music video Love Will Survive. Tom also served as film and sound editor on the recent short Lucky Man.

[photo] Andy Ryder - Location Sound/Music
Andy began his career as a musician in Nottingham, England, earning notoriety with his band Medium Medium. In 1991, he moved to New York City and began to explore his passion for film, working as a sound recordist on feature films and music videos while continuing to stay active in music as an assistant sound engineer. In 1995, Andy decided to combine his love of film and music by composing soundtracks for narrative films and documentaries.

[photo] Greg Renza - Associate Producer/Actor/Music
Greg's title of "Associate Producer" barely scratches the surface of his many varied contributions to "Trust". From his input during the pre-production process, to his cameo as "Steve the Bartender", to his major involvement with the soundtrack, Greg's presence was strongly felt. The latest example of his interest in the combination of art and technology are his experiments with Avid computer editing, which should benefit future productions.
